Tillis Seeks Senate Markup Vote on Stalled Crypto Market Structure Bill
Senator Thom Tillis said he will ask Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott to schedule a markup vote on the stalled crypto market structure bill when lawmakers return from recess on May 11. Tillis said he plans to release the bill text publicly at least four days before any markup after a preview for crypto and banking stakeholders. The bill remains disputed over stablecoin yield limits, software developer protections, and ethics rules for government officials.
