Crypto World News reports that Russia says Ukraine attacked Primorsk Port, an important Baltic Sea oil export hub on the coast, triggering a fire that local authorities said was quickly brought under control. On Sunday, Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko said the region’s air defense systems shot down more than 60 Ukrainian drones, with the port being a key target. He added that the fire has been extinguished, but did not specify the extent of the damage. Primorsk Port is an important part of Russia’s oil industry; before Ukraine launched a series of attacks this year, the port typically exported more than 1 million barrels of crude oil and diesel every day. These attacks are part of a wider campaign by Kyiv targeting ports and refineries. After the port was hit by a drone attack on March 23, it had temporarily halted oil tanker loading.
