These days, I’ve seen a bunch of people watching on-chain large transfers and hot/cold wallet movements on exchanges, treating it as "smart money moving"... I also get the itch to check, but sometimes the real killer isn’t who’s transferring funds, it’s the oracle feeding prices being half a beat slow.

To put it simply, price feed delay = the "fuse" in your position gets longer: when the market moves suddenly, you think you’re still safe, but the liquidation line has already been crossed by the latest price, the system just hasn’t updated yet; when the next quote arrives, liquidation hits like a counterattack, and slippage looks even worse. Not long ago, I really had the urge to just exit and uninstall the app, especially when I saw the liquidation notification... but I calmed down and lowered my leverage, took a quick look at the oracle price source and update frequency I was using, and switched to a more stable one if possible, to avoid gambling on a few minutes of "luck." Anyway, lasting longer is better than guessing right once.
