Lately I've been looking into MEV/ordering issues again, basically on-chain "cutting in line."
The biggest impact isn't really from people like us who just do a quick swap (though slippage can still be annoying), but more from market makers/strategists—being squeezed out is like someone snatching money off the ground...
I checked several transactions during the same period, entering the same pool one after another, and the results were wildly different, which is pretty frustrating.
What I care about more now are the "signals," which are actually quite simple: on the same path, can others consistently arrive earlier than you, and you can't quite see how they do it?
If this isn't solved, talking about fairness is just like drawing a pie in the sky.
By the way, I saw the wave of social mining and fan tokens, everyone shouting "attention is mining," but if ultimately attention is also harvested by those who are better at cutting in line, then... it's a bit of a false proposition, right?
Anyway, I'll keep diving for now, watching if wallets/bridges have more transparent ordering hints, and handle that first.
