Zelensky says Ukraine continues sanctions against Russia's "shadow fleet," hitting two oil tankers entering port

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media on the 3rd in local time that Ukraine will continue to impose sanctions on Russia’s “shadow fleet” and disclosed that the Ukrainian armed forces have struck two tankers of that type in the waters of the Novorossiysk port. Zelensky said these tankers are mainly used to transport Russian oil and serve as an important support force for Russia’s wartime economy. The two tankers that were hit had previously been actively used for oil transportation. He emphasized that Ukraine’s long-range strike capabilities will be comprehensively developed at sea, in the air, and on land. As of now, the Russian side has no response to this. (CCTV News)
