I just saw that Femke Kok just broke the Olympic record in the 500 meters. The Dutch skater simply dominated the ice competition; it's impressive how she executes each move. What's interesting is that while Erin Jackson from the United States ran well, she didn't make it to the podium. But wait, there's more: Jutta Leerdam, another Dutch athlete, took silver in the same race. I mean, the Dutch literally swept this event. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but it seems that speed skating is practically Dutch territory in these Games. Did you notice the level difference between Femke Kok and the rest? She's on a different level.
