UK FCA Issues New DLT Guidance for Fund Tokenization

The UK Financial Conduct Authority issued new guidance that sets standards for firms using distributed ledger technology in fund tokenization under the current regulatory framework. The guidance also introduces an optional Direct-to-Fund model that lets investors transact directly with traditional funds and tokenized funds. The FCA and industry jointly developed the rules to support innovation while keeping regulatory safeguards in place.
