Last night I translated a DAO proposal, almost clicked "Support," but then scrolled down two pages and saw: voting passes will give extra rewards to early voters, the earlier the more... Basically, it's just inserting incentives into the process, while also including "who has more say" into it. Then I looked at the delegated addresses, and a few people together could almost decide life or death, and suddenly I didn't feel like participating anymore.

Recently, airdrop season has become like clocking in at work, with task platforms full of anti-witchcraft measures, and points systems being rolled out. People are more easily led by the idea of "rewards for participation," and voting has become part of the tasks. Anyway, I chose this time: if I don't understand it, I won't act; I close the page and go drink water, and wait until someone explains the power structure in plain language before coming back.
