Recently, people keep asking me: how does modular blockchain really relate to me? To put it simply... most of the time, you don't really care about "which layer does what," you only care if signing a transaction takes forever, if gas suddenly spikes to an outrageous level, or if your funds get stuck when crossing chains. Modularization breaks down tasks to make the chain less congested, theoretically preventing everything from fighting for the same lane, but in real experience: having more networks in your wallet, more bridges, and when transactions don't go through, your heartbeat skips a few beats.

These days, in the group chat, there's been a heated debate about privacy coins/mixing and compliance, almost making me want to quit... even reaching for the uninstall button. Later, I thought about it—technology is technology, rules are rules, and what ordinary people fear most in the middle is "I'm just transferring funds, why does it feel like doing homework." Forget it, I'll just keep watching, saving a little gas whenever I can, and not getting myself worked up off-chain.
