Abstract generation in progress

Abel for the first time elaborated on his views regarding the company’s large stock holdings, emphasizing that Berkshire will adopt a concentrated holding strategy, based on a few core assets. He defined the four major core holdings—Apple, American Express, Moody’s, and Coca-Cola—as the foundation of Berkshire’s equity investments. He also pointed out that the group’s substantial holdings in Japanese general trading companies are another key pillar of the investment portfolio, and stated that these assets will be held long-term. In addition to the aforementioned core positions, Abel mentioned several other important holdings, including Bank of America, Chevron, and Alphabet, Google’s parent company. Berkshire increased its stake in Alphabet by approximately $4 billion in the third quarter of 2025. Currently, Abel is taking on more core responsibilities in the company’s investment management, saying he will actively manage the portfolio, adding to positions or optimizing holdings as appropriate. He added that he works closely with Buffett throughout the investment decision-making process.
