Iran's foreign minister says the U.S. demands were excessive, leading to the failure of the previous round of negotiations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Alaghazi stated in an interview with the media in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on the 27th that there have been new developments in the Iran-U.S. negotiation process. The inappropriate actions and excessive demands from the U.S. side have caused the previous round of talks to make some progress but fail to achieve the expected goals. Therefore, Iran finds it necessary to consult and assess the current situation with Pakistan. (Xinhua News Agency)
