In JoJo, you only need to confront specific people; obstacles in front of you are as concrete as they can be, and targets are as clear as they can be. Even if you truly can't defeat me, honestly, that's not really a problem. In Evangelion and Gundam, the opponents are systems and vast organizational structures that are so complex and even their outlines are hard to see clearly. When you can't even clearly define what the enemy is, the resistance tools you have are just like toys.
