CryptoWorld News: According to a report from Coin World, the BTC short position increased by 31.89 coins on May 2, 2026, worth approximately $2.5 million. The total position size reached $11 million. The average price was adjusted from $78,293.70 to $78,317.00. The current coin price is $78,392.92, and the liquidation price is $79,990.45. During December last year, this address previously made large increases to short positions in major cryptocurrencies such as BTC and ETH, and with a position size of $120 million it became the largest BTC short whale on Hyperliquid.
