I am increasingly feeling that things like grid trading/DCA are essentially buying insurance for sleep... You don't have to guess the top and bottom for every single move; just follow the plan and gradually ride out the volatility. When you wake up, your heart won't be pounding at 180 beats per minute. Of course, it's satisfying to make a quick profit, but after that, it depends on whether you can withstand the retracement and news-driven turbulence. Honestly, it's more like betting on your emotional stability.
Recently, everyone has been watching large on-chain transfers and abnormal movements in exchange hot and cold wallets as "smart money." I also pay attention, but only as an auxiliary signal: it can indicate "someone is moving," but doesn't mean "they are definitely right." For me, the truly important signals are: whether I can explain how this narrative connects to on-chain behavior, and whether I am willing to trade sleep for that potential gain. Anyway, I prefer to go slower and not treat tossing and turning at night as transaction fees.
