Recently, I've seen a bunch of social mining/points tasks again, basically using time to exchange for a "possible" identity label.

After working in nodes for a long time, I get a bit serious: no matter how good the incentive design is, there must be boundaries.
Otherwise, everyone will just compete to check in, repost, and spam interactions, and in the end, the activity on the chain is there, but decentralization becomes more like a performance.
The same goes for testnet incentives; people in the group are guessing every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens.
I just want to ask: if they don't issue tokens, will you still use it?
A colleague also asked me if I could do some points boosting for him...
I told him to forget it, don’t empty your life just for a badge.
Long-term thinking shouldn’t be led by short-term expectations.
