Hassett Says Powell's Remarks Were Disappointing
Hassett said he was disappointed by remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Powell and declined to say whether Powell had informed the White House in advance. Hassett, Director of the White House National Economic Council, also said he hopes Powell understands that the Department of Justice has backed down.
