When the funding rate hits an extreme, I start to get itchy, but now I’m increasingly inclined to lower my expectations first, which actually feels more relaxed. Honestly, when the entire network is moving in the same direction, trying to take the opposite side sounds cool, but in reality, it’s just falling in love with volatility—just a small needle can pierce through your mindset… I prefer to hide first and wait for the emotions to cool down before acting.

Recently, someone combined ETF capital flows with the risk appetite in the US stock market to craft a narrative explaining crypto price movements, and the comment section has been quite lively. I just think: don’t rush to find a parent for every candlestick; extreme rates are inherently an emotional indicator. It’s more important to detach yourself from the emotions first. Anyway, I’m not playing the hero today.
