Lately, there’s been another argument in the group about grid/DCA versus a single “all-in” trade. Put simply, I don’t think the core issue is whether the strategy is smart—it’s whether you want to sleep. Grid and DCA are like chopping up your emotions and slowly digesting them: whether the market goes up or down, you can pretend, “Anyway, I’m just executing.” An “all-in” trade is much more straightforward—if you win, you get carried away right then; if you lose, you spend the middle of the night refreshing the price chart, putting yourself on trial.

I personally lean toward grid—the kind of “you can survive without watching the charts all the time.” But I also admit that when the market really goes wild, DCA will start to feel slow because you’ll end up blaming it on yourself, and then your hands get itchy. As for narratives like modularization and the DA layer—developers talk about it with blood-boiling excitement, but for users, it’s mostly just: So where exactly am I supposed to click?

I no longer believe the nonsense that “I can control my hands with willpower.” If you can control yourself, you would’ve gone to sleep earlier. That’s it for now.
