Recently looking at DAO voting, it’s a bit like copying someone else’s “backup file”… On the surface, the proposals seem very righteous, but upon closer inspection, the focus is often on how to distribute incentives, who can propose, who can change parameters. Basically, it’s about the power structure quietly lining up there. When everyone votes, they tend to only focus on the conclusion, ignoring the fact that “if you don’t vote, you’re implicitly letting someone else decide.” Blockchain games with inflation + studios that cause coin prices to spiral right away are actually quite similar: if the incentive design is skewed, the system pushes itself down the spiral. Anyway, now when I read proposals, I tend to ask more: is this really about adding features, or just rearranging the seats… Let’s leave it at that for now.
