Lockheed Martin has been awarded a contract worth over $1.1 billion for the urgent full-rate production of 17 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) M142 launchers. This order addresses immediate needs for the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and foreign military customers including Australia, Canada, Estonia, Sweden, and Taiwan. The contract is a response to depleted HIMARS stocks due to donations to Ukraine and deployments in the Gulf region.
