How to Calculate the Growth of Your Investments in Gold

Let's assume you invested in gold in this way:
A 10-gram bar. Purchased in March 2023. For 2,500 SAR
A 10-gram bar. Purchased in March 2024. For 2,600 SAR
A 10-gram bar. Purchased in March 2025. For 4,000 SAR

To calculate your investment growth, you will do these steps:
1- Calculate total grams = 30 grams
2- Calculate total payments = 9,100 SAR
3- Calculate the cost per gram = divide total payments by total grams = 303 SAR
4- Find the current price per gram = 484 SAR
5- Calculate your profit = 484 - 303 = 180 SAR
6- Calculate the growth (divide profit by the cost per gram and multiply by 100) = 59%

Then repeat this process whenever the price per gram changes.
