Nobitex Founders Linked to Elite Iranian Family Tied to Supreme Leaders
Nobitex said it has about 11 million users and roughly 70% of Iran’s crypto activity, and the exchange was founded by two brothers from the Kharrazi family. Nobitex denied any government affiliation after records linked the founders to one of Iran’s most connected political families. Blockchain analytics firms also cited suspect, sanctioned, and state-linked flows through the platform, while Nobitex continued processing transactions during the war.
