US March Core PCE Rises 0.3% MoM, Matching Forecasts

U.S. March core PCE rose 0.3% month over month, matching forecasts. Core PCE also rose 3.2% year over year, in line with expectations. The Federal Reserve treats core PCE, which excludes food and energy, as its preferred inflation measure.
