I've noticed that people often talk about Elon Musk focusing on his tweets or his positions, but what we sometimes forget is the true scale of the organizations he has founded or co-founded. The guy has literally transformed multiple industries at the same time.

Let's start with Tesla. When you think about it, this company has really changed the game for electric cars. Founded in 2003, it wasn't supposed to succeed on this scale, but Musk pushed to make it more than just a car manufacturer. Revolutionary batteries, full self-driving, solar panels via SolarCity... Tesla has built itself as a complete energy ecosystem.

Next is SpaceX, created in 2002, which did something crazy: making space accessible. Reusable Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets, astronauts to the ISS, and now Starship aiming for Mars. It’s mind-blowing when you think about it.

The Boring Company, founded in 2016, is a more niche but interesting concept. Underground tunnels to bypass traffic jams, the Vegas Loop as a first test. Not bad as a solution to urban congestion.

Neuralink, also launched in 2016, might be the most futuristic project. Connecting the brain to computers, treating neurological diseases, restoring cognitive functions. It’s science fiction becoming reality.

After acquiring Twitter in 2022 for about $44 billion, Musk rebranded it as X in 2023. The platform underwent a major overhaul, revised advertising model, transformed verification system. His clear goal is to turn it into a multi-service super-app.

And then there’s OpenAI, where Musk played a co-founder role in the early days. Even though he left afterward, the organization has become central in AI development with GPT and everything that follows.

When you take a step back, the organizations founded by Musk literally cover sustainable energy, space exploration, urban infrastructure, brain-machine interfaces, and artificial intelligence. It’s a portfolio of projects that clearly aims to transform civilization on multiple fronts simultaneously. Not bad for a single person’s vision.
