Recently, a bunch of new L1/L2 testnet points have been released, claiming to practice for fun, but I’ve already started calculating “how much I can exchange for when the time comes”… For someone like me who only gets on board after pulling, it’s even more outrageous, chasing a few addresses to see how they interact, the more I look, the more it feels like I’m just finding reasons to keep grinding. To be honest, once practice turns into expectations, you need to set stop-losses: I’ve set two strict rules for myself, the first is a time stop-loss—if I keep clicking mechanically for several days, I’ll stop immediately; the second is a cost stop-loss—gas + time converted into a number, if it exceeds that, I’ll treat it as tuition and stop. Now, veteran users complaining about “mining, selling, and dumping” isn’t without reason; as TVL rises, everyone wants to exit quickly… Anyway, I’ll first isolate my main wallet from this kind of points gameplay, just in case airdrops actually happen, I’ll consider it a lucky find, and I won’t let it hijack my emotions. As for how you set your own thresholds… you know what I mean.
