Abel stated that if a subsidiary encounters unresolved labor disputes or unacceptable reputational risks, Berkshire will seriously consider whether the business is still suitable to remain under its umbrella; if it results in unacceptable consequences for employees, customers, or shareholders, it may decide to divest.
