Elon Musk has been the most influential figure in the crypto world for years, although it was never his intention to be the "Dogefather." His tweets move millions, his comments generate volatility, and people simply can't stop wondering: what cryptocurrencies does this guy really own?

Let's start with the basics. Bitcoin was his first major move in 2021, when Tesla announced that multi-million dollar investment we all remember. Although the company sold most of its holdings afterward, Musk confirmed that he personally still owns BTC. For him, Bitcoin is not just digital money; it's digital gold, a store of value in times of uncertainty. With the market dominance he has (around 57%), it's easy to understand why.

Then there's Ethereum. He publicly mentioned it during "The ₿ Word" in 2021, and since then, he's been clear that he sees the potential in ETH. It's no coincidence: Ethereum is the backbone of everything happening in DeFi, NFTs, and innovative blockchain applications. Musk understands that smart contracts are the future, and ETH is at the center of all that.

But if there's one cryptocurrency Musk truly feels comfortable with, it's Dogecoin. He doesn't hide it, nor does he try. He's called DOGE "the people's cryptocurrency," suggested using it at Tesla and SpaceX, and his dog memes have moved entire markets. The reason? Musk values the community and playful aspect of Dogecoin, but also genuinely believes in its utility as a medium of exchange due to its low fees.

Now, there's a lot of speculation about other coins. Shiba Inu is interesting because Musk has denied owning it, but his tweets about "Floki" and other dog-themed coins have caused massive movements. Floki Inu, named after Musk's Shiba Inu, has also gained traction, though without confirmation that he owns it.

The fascinating thing about following Elon Musk in cryptocurrencies is that his influence goes beyond his actual holdings. Every comment, every meme, every seemingly casual tweet triggers chain reactions in the markets. That's why it's important to understand that when we talk about Elon Musk and cryptocurrencies, we're not just talking about what he owns, but how his narrative shapes the entire space.
