just realized how many people don't actually know what 1k meaning is lol. like if you're scrolling crypto twitter or checking youtube metrics, you see these numbers everywhere but half the time people are confused 😅



so basically K = thousand, so 1K is 1,000. then it jumps to Million which is 1,000,000 (that's a lot of zeros), and Billion is 1,000,000,000. pretty straightforward once you get it.

why does this matter? because when someone says "this coin hit 10K holders" or "we got 5 million in volume", you actually know what they're talking about instead of just nodding along lol. especially in crypto where market cap, trading volume, and follower counts all use these terms constantly.

if you work online at all - whether it's youtube, freelancing, or trading - understanding 1k meaning and these other units saves you from looking lost in conversations. it's one of those things that seems obvious once you know it but kinda annoying when you don't
