A magnitude 5.6 earthquake occurred near the waters off Maluku Province, Indonesia.

According to a report released by the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency, at 5:27 PM local time on May 2, a magnitude 5.6 earthquake occurred in the sea area 201 kilometers northwest of Southeast Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, Indonesia. The earthquake’s depth was 114 kilometers, and there is no risk of a tsunami at this time. (CCTV News)
