Last night, I was scrolling and got itchy again, wanting to chase the pump, almost clicked to add to my position with one click... I paused for two minutes and asked myself: Did I get any new information, or am I just seeing others rushing and feeling itchy myself? Honestly, most of the time it's the latter.

My current quick method: first check the on-chain transfer fees and whether the cross-chain entry points are smooth, and while at it, glance at whether the fees on my usual L2s have suddenly spiked. Recently, L2s have started arguing fiercely over TPS, fees, and subsidies, but I, being stingy, stick to one rule: whichever is cheap and easy to use, I run with that, I don't want to pay transaction fees for emotions.

Anyway, as soon as I realize I'm just "afraid of missing out," I turn off the position button first, go drink some water... wait for my emotions to cool down before making a decision. Every penny saved feels pretty good.
