$78,400 USD for @BTC@, brave enough to enter now?
Interesting ETF with $630 million USD in one day, institutions seem crazy pushing in, Morgan Stanley quietly adding 35M coins—but what about the price? From $62k in February to $78k now, up nearly 30%, but YTD still in the red? No, YTD is still negative. Is this a bull return, or a last chance to escape?
First look at the surface: rising, but not fully up.
In the last 24 hours, BTC price fluctuated 0.02%, $78,367 USD, as if not moving. During April, up 15%, a strong rebound from $62k, but overall this year still at a loss. Do you think the bullish market has arrived? Check your account, still on the way to break-even.
First point: crazy institutions, ETF explosion.
May 1, US spot BTC ETFs netted $630 million USD in one day, the highest record in April 2026. BlackRock’s IBIT seems like a bottomless hole sucking in money, Morgan Stanley quietly holding a position of up to 2,620 BTC, worth $200 million.
Second point: half reduction in two years, supply already exhausted.
The April 2024 halving, miners produce only 450 BTC per day, equivalent to about $35 million. Meanwhile, ETF daily inflow is $630 million, just one day’s purchase enough for miners to mine for 18 days.** There’s a supply gap here, so why isn’t the price rising? Because of your panic?
Third point: $80k is a psychological barrier, also the last line of defense.
Between $78,500 and $80k USD, there’s a $1 billion sell wall. This isn’t an amount small traders can set, it’s big players waiting for you to buy in then sell, or are they also hesitant? If it breaks $80k, $85-90k will open; if not, it’ll fall back to $76k, even $73k.
On one side, institutions are buying insanely, ETFs are exploding, supply halving is pushing prices up.
On the other side, there’s heavy selling pressure at $80k, futures positions are high, Bollinger Band upper band is overbought.
Key level at $78,500, this is the dividing line between bullish and bearish.
If you’re a short-term trader: buy near current price or correction to $200M-$77k, stop loss at $75.5k, first target at $80k to take profit, then break through to $85-90k.
If you’re a long-term investor: DCA gradually in the range of $76.5k-$79k. Ark Invest says, by 2030, BTC market cap could reach $16 trillion, now it’s only around $2 trillion.
