Over the past two days, I’ve seen people get liquidated again and shout that it’s unfair. To put it simply: sometimes it’s not that you misread the direction—it’s that the oracle’s price is lagging by a half beat. The market drops like a needle going straight down, and the on-chain price hasn’t caught up yet; your position gets knocked out by the rules first… It’s really frustrating. That’s why I’m not too comfortable pushing leverage to the limit these days—I’d rather earn a little less than hand my life over to “latency.”

Lately, narratives about AI Agents and automated trading have been heating up again. It feels like half the people are hyping the future, and the other half are picking at the safety details. When I have too much information, I also start to get anxious. So I just focus on two things: what the protocol’s oracle source and update frequency are like, and whether I left enough buffer between my liquidation line and the current price. Don’t let the daily chart scare you, and don’t let the momentary excitement get you swept up and make you follow the crowd—keep your positions under control first.
