Recently, the narrative around parallel processing and sharding has heated up again, and the group is also arguing about which L2 TPS is more powerful, cheaper, and more subsidized... To be honest, I also get itchy, mainly because of the anxiety of "fearing missing out on the next wave of infrastructure dividends." When I see others sharing interactions, I want to make a move too.
But what I care about more now are the three old staples: where to place assets, whether they can be withdrawn, and whether the withdrawal counts as truly received. Bridges and re-staking stacked together are indeed quite tempting, but after layers of nesting, the exit path easily becomes "we'll see when the time comes." Anyway, my own garden pruning rules haven't changed: prioritize protocols I can understand, positions I can withdraw with one click, and even if the black-box yields are high, I hold back for now, just like that.
