Paolo Ardoino has just presented something interesting at Bitcoin 2026. The Resilience Stack, that's the name, represents a rather ambitious attempt to combine various Tether technologies into a single coherent infrastructure.

Specifically, what’s inside? Tether’s peer-to-peer Holepunch protocol, the decentralized communication app Keet, the WDK toolkit for self-custody wallets, and the QVAC platform for local AI development. This combination is not accidental, in my opinion. The idea is to provide financial and communication services to communities that are normally excluded.

What struck me is Paolo Ardoino’s announcement regarding Keet: the app will become open-source. Until now, it wasn’t, but they are preparing documentation and modules for release. It’s a significant change in direction.

Speaking of news, Tether launched a Bitcoin faucet today. Basically, you download the Tether wallet, respond to a specific Tweet from the Tether Wallet, and instantly receive a small amount of BTC via Lightning Network. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s a clever way to let people try Bitcoin, especially those who may have never touched it.

The impression is that Paolo Ardoino is trying to position Tether not only as a stablecoin provider but as a comprehensive infrastructure for financial access. We’ll see if it works.
