These days, the group is again talking about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and someone keeps saying "the de-pegging is coming"… I actually don’t feel that panicked. Anyway, when the network is congested, if you really want to run, you can’t escape: your transaction first gets queued in the mempool, and if the gas/fee is low, it just stays there, miners/packagers will prioritize more profitable ones, and those trying to front-run or snatch will be watching nearby. You think once you get confirmation it’s done, but it might actually be stuck for half a day, and in the end, it either gets included at a worse price or simply expires/you replace it yourself. My habit is: the more noise there is, the sooner I open my browser to check on-chain data (pending transaction count, base fee/congestion level), then decide whether to act or not. If I can wait, I wait. Don’t try to race the mempool when your emotions are at their peak. If you mess up, cancel the order and try again—don’t be stubborn.
