Crypto World News reports that the Russian cryptocurrency exchange Grinex said it will compensate customers for assets damaged by an unknown hacker attack half a month ago. The platform previously estimated the loss at about $1,400. Grinex said affected customers will first be able to withdraw the Ruble stablecoin a7a5; the stolen assets that are currently being held in the attackers’ wallets cannot be returned at this time. International AML services have marked the related funds as “stolen assets,” and the Russian police have opened a case. It is reported that in mid-April, the hackers stole about $14 million USDT from the platform and converted it into TRX via Sun IO for transfer.
