Recently, while reviewing my transaction records, I felt like cursing... Usually I think "just a few transactions," but after a year of on-chain, exchange, and cross-chain activities, when it comes time to report, my mind just gets tangled. Now I’ve set a strict rule for myself: for every deposit, withdrawal, currency exchange, or transfer, I take a screenshot, note the transaction hash, and add a remark in a folder on the same day, along with a line explaining "why I exchanged, from where to where." Otherwise, at the end of the year, I can only rely on memory to piece it together, which is too painful.
In the group these days, everyone’s talking about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and all kinds of rumors about "losing the peg," which makes me even more eager to keep my records clean... Honestly, I don’t want my assets to be fine while I mess up the documentation. Oh, and once I got stuck exporting a report—I kept refreshing and retrying on the page, queued for over ten minutes, and in the end, I got a table with missing fields. I was really fed up, so I prefer to keep my own records myself, even if it’s more trouble.
