Since February 2026, the US Has Released $25 Billion in Costs to Fight the War Against Iran
The military conflict between the United States and Iran has reportedly cost around $25 billion so far.
The figure was disclosed by Pentagon officials during a hearing in Congress, marking the first official estimate since the conflict began in late February 2026.
Most of the spending comes from large-scale use of ammunition, including precision missiles and air defense systems.
In addition, the costs also cover military operations, maintenance, and the replacement of equipment damaged or destroyed during the conflict.
The war has also involved large-scale deployment of US troops and military assets to the Middle East, further adding to the budget burden.
Its impact is felt not only in the military sector, but also in the global economy, including rising energy prices due to disrupted oil distribution.
Several analysts estimate that the total cost could continue to increase, especially if the conflict persists or requires rebuilding military infrastructure.
The disclosure of this figure has triggered political debate within the US, particularly regarding its fiscal impact and inflation.
