I've been researching ways to mine cryptocurrencies for free and discovered there are more options than I imagined. It's not that complicated thing it seemed to be at first.
I started with Awesome Miner, which is a very old software in the market (since 2014) and works on both Windows and Linux. Very simple to use, just download and start mining. Then I found BetterHash, which has this interesting feature of automatically choosing the most profitable coin at the moment, saving time.
Now, if you want to focus only on Bitcoin, StormGain is an option that many people recommend. The cool thing is that you can mine even with your phone, which is very practical. It also has support in Portuguese, so it's easier for us Brazilians.
There's also CryptoTab, which is a browser where you mine while browsing the web. It works on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. The advantage is that you don't need to do anything special, just use the browser normally. Kryptex is another one that promises around R$520 per month on a simple PC, but that depends a lot on your hardware conditions.
For those who want to mine Ethereum, PEGAPool is interesting because it works directly on the smartphone. They say you can earn up to 0.01 ETH per day, which isn't bad considering it's free.
There's also MinerGate, which is very versatile and works on various systems. The software automatically chooses the most advantageous coin based on your device.
Besides these, there's EarnCrypto, which is more for completing simple tasks like watching ads and answering surveys to earn cryptocurrencies. It's a more passive way to earn some satoshis.
But hey, it's important to stay alert. There are many scams out there involving mining and promises of free Bitcoin. Always verify the source of the tool, its history, and what security measures are being used. Don't fall for traps asking for your personal data. Mining cryptocurrencies for free is possible, but it requires caution and common sense.
