Recently, I saw the project call on everyone to "delegate votes to professional nodes," and I actually feel a bit uncomfortable: it’s called governance, but it seems more like passing the baton to a few people in the end. Delegation is originally meant to be convenient, but as layers pile up, it gradually becomes oligarchic—who is the token governing? Honestly, most of the time, it’s about governing "us who are too lazy to participate."

When incidents like cross-chain bridge thefts or oracle errors happen, everyone tacitly agrees to "wait for confirmation," and suddenly I understand: when risks appear, the community is actually more willing to hand over decisions to a few people to take the blame.

Why do I stay calm... maybe it’s just a habit: any reminder to "vote quickly, follow quickly," I will first leave it overnight, and the next day, look at the on-chain voting and delegation distribution. After the heat subsides, the answer usually becomes clearer. That’s how I start.
