Just came across something pretty wild about British Prime Ministers and their wealth trajectories. Turns out the financial transformation some of these leaders went through while in office is absolutely staggering.

So here's the thing - some of them barely moved the needle financially. Rishi Sunak came in already loaded at 900M and stayed there, which honestly puts things in perspective. Keir Starmer's in a similar boat, starting and staying around 8M+. But then you've got the real wealth builders.

Tony Blair absolutely crushed it - went from 1M before office to 70M after. That's a 70x increase. Margaret Thatcher followed a similar trajectory, jumping from 10M to 60M. Even David Cameron managed to go from 50M to 70M during his tenure. Pretty mad when you think about it.

Gordon Brown's net worth is interesting to look at in this context - he went from 2M to 5M, which is solid but nowhere near the Blair numbers. John Major did similar, 1M to 6M. Boris Johnson 2M to 6M. The pattern's actually pretty fascinating when you map it out.

The older generation like Churchill and Macmillan had their own wealth dynamics too, though the numbers are harder to compare directly across different eras. Clement Attlee barely saw any change, 500K to 600K.

What's wild is how some of these figures exploded after leaving office - speaking fees, consulting gigs, board positions. The real money seems to come after they leave Number 10, not necessarily during their time there. Worth keeping an eye on how these wealth patterns continue to evolve.
