Because v22 is an initial mature version, changes are made based on the needs of Pai Chain; some versions can be skipped if not applicable.
Pai's modified protocol upgrades will definitely lag behind Star Protocol's by some margin.
v26 is the Star Protocol version, and currently, Star has released the v26 test version.
But Pai has only upgraded to v22.
Pai has the Star Protocol gene but does not fully adopt it; Pai needs to modify the open-source version of Star Protocol at the underlying layer, adding KYC and node content.
It should also enrich the application tools to expand development capabilities (enhancing the lightweight application foundation) to meet the future trend of AI-driven全民创新 (全民 innovation).
v22 is considered a relatively basic yet complete version, and upgrading based on this version is more stable.
