Abstract generation in progress

Senator Thom Tillis said he will press the Senate Banking Committee to schedule a markup for the delayed crypto market structure bill when the Senate returns on May 11. Tillis said the bill text has progressed, but disputes over stablecoin yield, ethics rules, and software developer protections have slowed the process. The House passed its version, the CLARITY Act, in July, while the Senate version remains under negotiation.
