Wu Shuo learned that a16z crypto published an article stating that the term "stablecoin" may gradually become outdated.

The article argues that stablecoins were originally used to address payment, savings, and lending issues caused by high volatility in crypto assets, but now stability has become a fundamental prerequisite, and stablecoins themselves are evolving into a global financial infrastructure that can be used for cross-border instant transfers, real-time settlement, direct holdings, and embedded applications.
The author states that the core change driven by stablecoins is to make money "run like software," and as their scale expands and supports global payments in the future, the term "stablecoin" may gradually be replaced by expressions such as "digital dollar," "digital euro," or on-chain assets.
