I muted the group, and it suddenly became much quieter.

Before, there was a flood of parallel/sharding narratives every day, looking lively, but in my mind, only two questions remained: where to put the assets, and whether I can exit smoothly when it’s really time to run.
Honestly, no matter how fast the chain is or how beautiful the TPS is, boundary conditions like bridges, cross-chains, and contract permissions can blow up as soon as they’re triggered, and I’ve seen too many in audit reports.

Recently, someone also used ETF capital flow and US stock risk appetite to explain crypto price movements.
I also look at that, but I don’t feel confident to increase my holdings because of it…
Emotions come and go quickly.
Anyway, I prefer to take it slow now: if I can self-custody, I won’t be lazy; if I don’t need to touch unfamiliar bridges, I won’t; leaving an exit route feels more solid than chasing narratives.
