Recently, L2s have started comparing TPS, transaction fees, and subsidies again, and it's getting quite lively, but I'm more focused on one main thread: whether this chain ultimately "counts" or not. To put it simply, first look at where the data is stored (data availability), so you don't end up unable to check transaction details later; then see who is in line (ordering), whether a few people are trying to cut in line; finally, look at how long it takes to finalize (finality), so you don't think a transaction is settled only to have it overturned later.



There are basically three steps with all these terms: writing it down, lining up, and stamping it. As for my holdings, I prefer to keep a light, staggered position—better to go slow and understand where the risks are, rather than chasing after a heated debate.
