I've been getting confused lately by all these words like "data availability / ordering / finality," and after thinking it through, I realized there's a common thread: Did everyone see that transaction? Was it ordered in a certain way? And will it ultimately be reversed? Basically, it's "visible—ordered—unchangeable." Watching the blockchain during after-hours trading is like observing city traffic; just because the lights are on doesn't mean your car will definitely get through the intersection first... If the ordering gets messy, your mindset starts to drift. Recently, I've also been discussing rate cut expectations, the US dollar index, and how risk assets sometimes rise and fall together. I care more about that "finality"—the feeling of that last hammer drop—otherwise, the ups and downs all seem like illusions. If you're also scared off by these terms, just ask yourself: which step are you most afraid will go wrong?
