I've been monitoring the "body temperature" of stablecoins again these days... Clearly it's supposed to be 1 dollar, but I still have doubts: in case of a real crisis, can the reserve report withstand a bank run? To be honest, de-pegging is often not a math problem; it's everyone panicking together and clicking the withdrawal button at the same time.

Seeing large transfers on the blockchain, or hot and cold wallets moving on exchanges, some people say "smart money is coming/going," and I get the itch to check as well. But after more failures, I realize: don’t treat a single transfer as a prophecy; it’s more about your own anxiety looking for an excuse.

Anyway, I live by habit now: daily check a few transparency metrics, see if the redemption channels are clogged, whether the available liquidity in lending pools has changed—no drama. Over the long term, at least I won’t be startled into a panic by a single needle... that’s how I’ll go for now.
