Recently, I keep seeing screenshots of re-staking/shared security yields flying around the group again. Let’s be honest: it’s the “same sense of security” being packaged into multiple layers of interest. Stacking yields is fine, but don’t pretend the risks don’t exist. Once the underlying assets have even a small issue, those protocols stacked on top won’t be polite—liquidation, suspension, and even rule changes could all happen at the same time.

What’s even funnier is that rumors about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging keep getting forwarded again and again. Everyone is shouting, “We need to see audits,” yet when they see the APY, they choose to go selectively blind… Emotions really can lead people astray. My habit is: with each additional layer, I force myself to write down whether I can accept the worst-case scenario. If I can, I continue; if not, I treat it as something I just pass by. In the long run, this isn’t about talent—it’s about the repeated habit of restraint.
