Russian cryptocurrency exchange Grinex announced that it will compensate customers whose assets were damaged due to an unknown hacker attack half a month ago. The platform previously estimated the loss at about $1,400. Grinex stated that affected customers will first be able to withdraw the Ruble stablecoin A7A5; the stolen assets are still in the attacker’s wallet and cannot be returned at this time. International AML services have flagged the related funds as "stolen assets," and Russian police have filed a case. It is reported that in mid-April, hackers stole approximately $14 million USDT from the platform and converted it to TRX via SUN.io for transfer.
